VAF was incorporated in 1979 with a charter to distribute and manufacture innovative fluid handling equipment for industry. In 1993 VAF began manufacturing automatic self-cleaning water filters and control valves leading up to the introduction of the V-Series.
Automatic Self-Cleaning Screen Filters
Our flagship VAF filters, the V-Series, are automatic self cleaning screen filters used that can remove suspended solids from 1500 to 10 micron. Individual filters and pre-assembled filtration systems are used in applications for pre-filtration of membrane, ultra-violet and other micro filtration technologies, as well as applications for industrial water reuse, water and wastewater, cooling towers, seawater, river intake water, well water, groundwater re-injection (frac water), irrigation and many more.
The VAF LCF-Series Automatic Self-Cleaning Filter Skid provides a low cost solution for side-stream Cooling Tower separation of solids from water. Based on the micron selected, the removal of all solids to the micron rating can be achieved in a matter of minutes not hours. This significantly reduce maintenance costs, energy costs, chemical usage and reduce the consumption of water. Backed by VAF's decades of filtration experience, the LCF Automatic Self-Cleaning Skid provides performance and reliability at a cost effective price.
