Smith & Loveless partners with CEC
Smith & Loveless prides themselves on the fact that they can offer equipment that not only has superior construction, but yield superior performance and durability. This is something CEC is looking for in a manufacturer. We are proud to announce that CEC has joined the Smith & Loveless Family.
For more than 65 years, S&L has manufactured the high quality solids handling pumps required for lasting and reliable service in the municipal and industrial markets. We are excited to offer the Smith & Loveless Non-Clog Pump. This is the pump that has made S&L an industry standard around the world. S&L's Pumps comprises the heart of Smith & Loveless Pump Stations and PISTA® Grit Handling Systems. With its industry-superior components and construction, it became the first pump designed specifically for wastewater transfer.
Smith & Loveless Wet Well Mounted Pump Stations (WWMPS) revolutionize the way you think about wastewater lift stations. By mounting a complete lift station – including S&L pumps, piping, valves, controls – outside of and above the wet well, wastewater pumping becomes dramatically simpler, safer and more economical. Available in 2-pump, 3-pump, and 4-pump series arrangements, in completely above-grade, semi-recessed and CAPSULAR® configurations, S&L Wet Well Mounted Pump Stations feature pumping capacities (with pumps up to 12" in size) of up to 20,000 GPM & 500' TDH.
High removal efficiencies originate from the PISTA® Grit Chamber’s unparalleled hydraulic design, including its flat chamber floor, patented and low-energy axial-flow propeller. The combination creates a true vortex that effectively separates grit from organics and the waste stream. Forced vortex action distinguishes the PISTA® Grit Chamber from all other so-called “vortex” grit chambers because it does not rely on less efficient particle settling or gravity.
CEC appreciates the fact that Smith & Loveless takes pride in their work. Not only in what they can deliver, but where it is made. Smith & Loveless Inc. manufactures 100 percent of its treatment and pumping systems at its U.S. facilities in Lenexa, Kansas (primary facility and company headquarters), Sunset Hills, Missouri, and Norwalk, California. Included in this, Smith & Loveless manufactures its products utilizing American-produced goods and raw materials.
