The VAF V-Series patented Bi-directional Hydrodynamic Drive (BHD) mechanism is the simplest and most efficient in design. VAF's self-cleaning screen filters require fewer moving parts (no limit switches, motors, or pistons reversing the cleaning mechanism), and simple controls. The V-Series offers the lowest flush flow in the industry. The V-Series has a 12 to 15 second flush cycle that automatically initiats when the pressure differential across the screen increases to 7 psi. The filter remains on line and the filtration process remains uninterrupted during the cleaning process. The flush discharge is the lowest available resulting in minimal waste.

Vertical Configuration
The SH-200 Skid with enclosure has been specifically designed to provide optimum service accessibility, while providing the filter assembly with vandal resistant housing. The SH-200 is offered in two (2) configurations: 1) totally enclosed with side air vents and 2) is open mesh as shown above. The compact design along with the vandal resistant features makes it the perfect choice for small irrigation systems with flow rates of 50 m3/hr (220 gpm) or less.
