Smith & Loveless Wet Well Mounted Pump Stations (WWMPS) revolutionize the way you think about wastewater lift stations. By mounting a complete lift station – including S&L pumps, piping, valves, controls – outside of and above the wet well, wastewater pumping becomes dramatically simpler, safer and more economical. Available in 2-pump, 3-pump, and 4-pump series arrangements, in completely above-grade, semi-recessed and CAPSULAR® configurations, S&L Wet Well Mounted Pump Stations feature pumping capacities (with pumps up to 12" in size) of up to 20,000 GPM & 500' TDH.

S&L Saves City Thousands Annually Over Submersibles

For more than 12 years (2002-2014), the progressive Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kan. has kept detailed records of all repair and maintenance work orders for the 53 duplex wastewater pump stations in its sewerage network. Of these stations (all with flow conditions of less than 1,000 GPM per pump and 50,000 GPD), 32 are Smith & Loveless vacuum primed Wet Well Mounted Pump Stations (WWMPS) and 21 are submersible pump stations. The results overwhelmingly favor the S&L Wet Well Mounted Pump Station approach with nearly 56% in total cost savings, an average of more than $2,700 per pump station per year (nearly $400,000 saved by the city over a 12-year period).
